DO YOU UNDERTAKE COMMISSIONS?

Kate Does undertake commissions. The process starts with a conversation regarding the subject of the commission. Photographs are then sent over or a discussion about the relevant criteria that the customer requires.

You will be kept unto date with regards to the progress of the commission and delivery dates.

How long does a commission Take

Depending on the size of the painting and timings a commission would normally take two months. However is individual and a discussion would clarify an exact time frame.

Are Commissions refundable?

Commissions are none refundable.

Do I need to pay a deposit on a commission?

A 25% non refundable deposit needs to be paid in full on the date of the ordered commission. The full outstanding balance needs to be paid upon delivery of the item.

What if an Item is damaged upon receipt.?

All damaged items will get a full refund.

Do you offer international Shipping?

Please contact Kate Modern to discuss the cost of international Shipping.

What are Shipping costs services are available?

For smaller items these will be sent by Royal Mail standard delivery or recorded delivery depending on their value. Paintings will be by courier, there will be a standard charge small £12.95 medium £24.95 large £44.95 If the painting doesn’t fit this criteria you will be informed of any extra cost incurred.

How are items packaged?

Smaller items will be packaged by box or brown paper. Prints will be packaged in a cardboard tube. Paintings depending n their size will be boxed, bubble wrapped and brown paper.
